CM Ashok Gehlot's government announced that public discipline fortnight in Rajasthan will be held from 5 am on May 10 from morning to May 24. Not only this, the marriage ceremony will be banned in the state till May 31

Total lockdown declared in Rajasthan

In fact, in view of the ever increasing corona infection in Rajasthan, the Gehlot government on Thursday announced to increase public discipline fortnight (lockdown) in the state. It will be on May 10 from 5 to 24 May at 5 in the morning. During this period, there will be a complete ban on all other activities except emergency services as well as banning of weddings in Rajasthan. CM Ashok Gehlot announced the imposition of the entire lockdown after the cabinet meeting.

Under the rules of Public Discipline Pakhwara, no ceremonies related to marriage, DJ, procession and evacuation and partying will not be allowed till May 31 in the state. Marriage will be allowed at home or as a court marriage, involving only 11 persons, whose information is available on the web portal Covidinfo. rajasthan .gov .in.

Band Baje, Halwai, Tents or any other person of this nature will not be allowed to attend the wedding. Home delivery of any kind of goods related to tent house and confectioner will also not be allowed for marriage.


Advance booking amount will have to be returned

Apart from this, the marriage garden, marriage hall and hotel complex will remain closed for the wedding ceremony. Wedding venue owners, tent traders, catering operators and band-bazaars, etc., must return the advance booking amount to the organizer or adjust the event later.

Also, no group meals will be allowed. In rural areas, there have been cases of workers getting infected, in view of this, the work of MNREGA will be postponed. The Rural Development Department will issue detailed guidelines in this regard.


All types of religious places will remain close
