Sanjeevani Scam: Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat's difficulties have increased in the famous Sanjeevani Credit Co-operative Society scam case. On Friday, the Rajasthan High Court accepted the application submitted by the state government. The application was made by the Special Operation Group (SOG) to consider Shekhawat as an accused in the Sanjeevani scam case. The next hearing in the case will be on May 30.

Government introduced revised application

Order amendment application was filed in the High Court on behalf of the government. Earlier, SOG did not make Shekhawat an accused in the Sanjivani scam, amending it, SOG made Shekhawat an accused in this case and then the government presented an application in the court, which has been accepted today.

A hearing was also held in this matter on 27 April. However, due to paucity of time, the hearing could not be completed. In the hearing held on Friday, Justice Kuldeep Mathur's bench accepted the application filed by the government.

Earlier the accused was not considered

On April 13, senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi, appearing for the state government, while arguing in the case, said that Shekhawat has neither been considered as an accused nor arrested in the SOG FIR. On this the High Court had stayed the arrest of Gajendra Singh.

Following this order, an application for amendment of the application was moved on the same day. Senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi said that due to being online, he could not explain properly at the time of the briefing.

It was also said that the investigating officer of SOG was also present in the court. Shekhawat is the accused as per the factual report. For this, an amendment paper was presented, which has been accepted today.

Got relief from the court 15 days ago

Earlier, in the hearing held on March 28 and April 3, the bench of High Court Justices Manoj Garg and Praveer Bhatnagar refused to hear the matter. In a hearing held on Thursday, April 13, Justice Kuldeep Mathur, while giving relief to Shekhawat, stayed his possible arrest on SOG and FIR lodged anywhere in Rajasthan and asked for re-hearing after 3 weeks.

After this, a hearing was held in this matter today, in which the application given by the State Government was accepted.

Gehlot and Shekhawat face to face on Sanjeevani case

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat are at loggerheads over the issue of Sanjivani Co-operative Society. On February 21, the CM had named Shekhawat and his family as accused in the scam. After this, Shekhawat filed a defamation case against Gehlot in the Delhi court in the first week of March.

Shekhawat called CM Ravana

In the election year, the statements of BJP-Congress leaders are increasing. When Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh called CM Gehlot the Ravana of Rajasthan politics, Gehlot also did not miss to retaliate and said- 'He can go to jail soon in the Sanjeevani scam'.

Shekhawat lashed out at the CM and the Congress government at the BJP's public protest rally in Chittorgarh on Thursday. Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said at the end of his speech – If you want to end Ashok Gehlot, this Ravana of politics in Rajasthan, then raise your arms.

Make a resolution for the establishment of Ram Rajya in Rajasthan. During his speech, while besieging the government on paper leak and corruption, he said – When the BJP government comes, there will be a CBI inquiry.

Gehlot said- Gajendra Singh's friends are sitting in jail, Gajendra can go to jail anytime

On this statement of Gajendra, CM Ashok Gehlot said- 'Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and BJP leaders are now abusing me. They are saying about me Ashok Gehlot is Ravan. Hey brother, you looted. Sat after eating money, their friends are sitting in jails. Gajendra Singh can also go to jail anytime, such is the situation.

He used to say that he is not an accused at all. Why did you go to the High Court for bail when there is no accused? No matter how much bail you get, either he resigns on the basis of morality or the PM sacks such a corrupt minister. Come on, I am Ravana. Pay the money of 2.5 lakh Sanjivani victims by selling your property, I will call you Ram.

No matter how many stones the BJP people throw at me, I will build schools and hospitals with them, this is my thinking.
