Banswara A case of unique wedding has come to light in Kadda village of Anandpuri panchayat, about 70 km from tribal-dominated Banswara city. Here a young man has married two young women together and has brought his own marriage into the discussion. While it is a common practice in the tribal area for local residents to have more than one wife, the matter remains a matter of discussion for marrying two young women in the same pavilion.

On 24 April, Dinesh, a resident of Kadda village, got married. This marriage is unique in itself because the two young men married by the young man are from different villages. One's name is Sita and the other's name is Gita. During this marriage, all the people of the society were present, which normally happens in weddings. Nobody had any objection to this marriage. The wedding took place on Saturday night with full customary rituals. In this, the young man went to the same pavilion with both the women. The practice prevalent in the tribal region is also to have more than 1 wife.

This tradition is also special among the tribals

If a woman pleases a tribal person and the two agree to live with each other, the woman leaves her first husband and family and moves to live with the other. It is called Natare here. There are a large number of people who have more than one wives here under this snacking practice. Earlier in 2014, this type of marriage took place in the area. In that too, a young man married two women in the same pavilion.
