Rajasthan News: It is election season in Rajasthan and this time the politics has intensified on who will be the face of the Chief Minister's post in Congress. Ashok Gehlot is afraid that the party may make Sachin Pilot the CM's face due to his rebellious attitude, that's why Gehlot has once again opened the old file against the Sachin Pilot group. In Dholpur, Gehlot attacked the Pilot group once again and said that like Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, BJP had also conspired to topple their government in which some of our leaders were involved. The government was saved but the BJP has not taken back the money from them. Gehlot's reference is clearly towards the Pilot group. Gehlot also claimed that the MLAs were given a whopping amount of 10-12 crores, which neither the BJP has demanded back nor the MLAs have returned it.

Meanwhile, another claim by Gehlot has created a stir in the politics of Rajasthan. Gehlot said his government was saved from the political crisis of 2020 because former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and former Assembly Speaker and MLA Kailash Meghwal did not support the "conspiracy" to topple his government. He also targeted the rebel MLAs of Congress and said that they should return the money taken from BJP so that they can do their work without any pressure.

Gehlot's statement a conspiracy: Vasundhara Raje

At the same time, veteran BJP leader and former CM Vasundhara Raje has said that Gehlot's statement is an outright lie. This statement has been given under a conspiracy. If anyone has insulted him the most, then that person is Gehlot. Assembly elections are to be held in 2023. In such a situation, due to the fear of defeat in the elections, he is making statements like this. Vasundhara said that she feels that Ashok Gehlot made false allegations against her because she is facing rebellion in her own party. Gehlot is completely enraged by this rebellion.

Political crisis lasted for a month in Rajasthan

Significantly, Gehlot's then Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot and 18 other Congress MLAs had rebelled against his leadership in July 2020. The month-long crisis ended after the intervention of the party high command. After this, Pilot was removed from the post of Deputy Chief Minister and State Congress President. Addressing an event in Dholpur, Gehlot said he did not support the toppling of the Bhairon Singh Shekhawat-led BJP government as state Congress party chief as it was unfair, as did Kailash Meghwal and Vasundhara Raje Scindia. Said that we have never had a tradition here. In this way, to topple the elected governments on the power of money.

Gehlot told the whole story of the rebellion

Gehlot said, “When Bhairon Singh Shekhawat was the chief minister, his partymen were toppling the government at that time… I was the president of the state Congress, people came to me… money was being distributed at that time as it is now. I told them..good men, your leader Bhairon Singh Shekhawat is the chief minister... I am the president of the Pradesh Congress Committee. He is sick, so he has gone to America and you are conspiring from behind to topple the government. I will not support you." He said "If I wanted, I would have joined them and Bhairon Singh's government could have fallen...I told him you are doing this unethical work...the man who is sick... There he has had three operations and you are toppling the government from behind. The same thing was said by Kailash Meghwal and Vasundhara Raje Scindia that we have never had a tradition..to topple elected governments on the basis of money.

Gehlot said that BJP MLA Shobharani also listened to Vasundhara Raje and Kailash Meghwal and said that I too should not support such people. He said, “That is why our government is left. I can never forget this incident in my life which happened to me.

'Milk and lemon juice never mix'

Significantly, Gehlot and Raje are often accused by their opponents of being "soft" towards each other. Both the leaders have denied any such agreement. A few days ago, Raje dismissed the allegations of collusion with Gehlot as lies and said that 'milk and lemon' juice never mix. Kushwaha, a BJP MLA from Dholpur, was suspended from the party after he cross-voted in favor of the Congress candidate in the Rajya Sabha elections last year. Ministers Amit Shah, Dharmendra Pradhan, Gajendra Shekhawat all conspired together..they had distributed the money in Rajasthan..they are not taking the money back..I am worried..why are they not taking the money.. Why are you not demanding money back from them (MLAs).

The Congress leader was addressing a program in the home constituency of former chief minister Vasundhara Raje on Sunday. Gehlot also praised Congress MLAs Rohit Bohra, Chetan Doody and Danish Abrar for providing information about the rebellion against the Congress government in 2020. He said that these three Congress MLAs, six MLAs from the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) who joined the Congress and independents had supported him during the political crisis in 2020 and saved his government. Gehlot said that these people were the real entitled to become ministers in the government, but he could not appoint them as ministers because of some political reasons and he is feeling sad for it.

What did Vasundhara Raje say?

At the same time, Vasundhara Raje has rejected Gehlot's claim and said that the Chief Minister is lying out of fear of defeat in the assembly elections to be held later this year. He said that Gehlot has accused Home Minister Amit Shah, whose honesty and integrity is well known. Raje said that taking and giving bribe is both a crime, Gehlot should get an FIR registered if his MLAs have taken money. He said, "The truth is that he (Gehlot) has made such outrageous and untrue allegations in a fit of rage because of the rebellion in his own party and the mass base going down the drain."

The former Chief Minister said, “Gehlot himself has mastered the horse-trading of MLAs, who formed the government in 2008 and 2018 despite being in a minority. We too could have formed the government but it was against the principles of the BJP. “Raje said,” Chief Minister praising me is a big conspiracy by him against me. No one can insult me as much as Gehlot insulted me in life. He is creating such fabricated stories to avoid the historic defeat in 2023 elections, which is unfortunate but his ploy is not going to be successful.

It is noteworthy that former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot and 18 other Congress MLAs had rebelled against Gehlot's leadership in July 2020. The month-long crisis ended after the intervention of the party high command.
