He strongly condemned the demand to ban RSS, criticized the West Bengal government on law and order, and expressed confidence in BJP's victory in Rajasthan by-elections.

Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat addressed a range of pressing political issues during a tourism meeting in Udaipur. He openly discussed speculation surrounding his relationship with former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, the demand for a ban on the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the law and order situation in West Bengal, and the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) strategy for the upcoming by-elections in Rajasthan.

On Relationship with Vasundhara Raje

Shekhawat firmly refuted claims of any animosity with Vasundhara Raje. He stated, "I've never said that my relations with Vasundhara ji aren't good. There is no place for personal animosity in politics, while " He emphasized that the BJP functions like a family where "differences of opinion may exist, but not differences of heart. " As proof of cordial relations, he highlighted the recent visits by the Chief Minister and State President to meet Raje, noting that such meetings wouldn't occur if there were any resentment, while he asserted that in a functional family, protocols are unnecessary and that the BJP has never had, nor will it ever have, such a system. Addressing the demand for a ban on the RSS in Karnataka, Shekhawat expressed strong disapproval, stating that those making such comments "don't have the stature to comment on the RSS. " He reiterated that the RSS works for nation-building and global welfare, and historically, attacks on the organization have only made it stronger, bringing it further into the limelight. Turning to West Bengal, the Union Minister voiced deep concerns over the safety. Of women and the general public, accusing the police of succumbing to political pressure. He described the situation as "unimaginable" when viewed from Rajasthan.

Confidence in Rajasthan By-election Victory

Regarding the upcoming by-elections in Rajasthan, Shekhawat exuded confidence in the BJP's prospects. He declared that the party would win with a "thumping majority. " Citing previous by-election successes where the BJP adopted an "one to many" strategy and won four out of five seats, he predicted a similar landslide victory in the Anta by-election, stating, "You can write it down. " He remains optimistic about the party's internal strength and electoral performance.
