Cold wave conditions will prevail over North-West, Central India, East India and parts of Madhya Pradesh (Madhya Pradesh) during the next two-three days. The India Meteorological Department has predicted that during this time there will be rain in many states of India.

There is a possibility of snowfall and rain in these states

According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), due to fresh western disturbance, light rain in Jammu and Kashmir (Jammu-Kashmir), Ladakh (Ladakh), Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad (Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad) from January 29-31. And there is a possibility of snowfall. Under the influence of another Western Disturbance, there may be heavy rain and snowfall in the Western Himalayan region. Apart from this, light rain may occur in the plains from February 2 to 4.

There will be an outbreak of cold wave here

According to the Meteorological Department, isolated parts of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Rajasthan (Rajasthan), western Uttar Pradesh (Western UP), Vidarbha, Bihar and Chhattisgarh during the next 2-3 days. Cold wave conditions are very likely to occur in isolated parts and over Odisha during January 28 to 30. During the next 24 hours, severe cold wave conditions will prevail in isolated areas of Madhya Pradesh. During this, cold winds will blow in different areas of Madhya Pradesh.

Apart from this, there is a possibility of cold weather in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Vidarbha during the next 24 hours and at isolated places over Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh for the next two days.

No significant change in minimum temperatures is likely over most parts of North-West India during the next three days and will gradually increase by 2-3 degree Celsius thereafter. The minimum temperature is likely to drop by 2-4 degree Celsius over East India during the next two days and there will be no significant change thereafter.

A fresh Weak Western Disturbance is likely to affect Western Himalayan region from January 29 and another Western Disturbance is likely to affect North-West India from February 2. Light rain is likely at one or two places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on Friday followed by dry weather.
