Gujarat | PM Modi, who arrived at Trimandir of Adalaj in Gujarat to inaugurate 'Mission Schools of Excellence', said that today more than one crore students have attendance in Gujarat. He said that 20 thousand schools in Gujarat are going to enter the 5G era of education. During this, the PM said about 5G that if I want to explain this technology in the language of the village, then I would say that if there is a 4G cycle, then 5G is an airplane.

PM Modi said that today we will take our education system to the next level by moving beyond 5G, smart facilities, smart classrooms, smart teaching. Now the power of virtual reality, Internet of Things can also be experienced in schools. He said that reading and writing in English language has become synonymous with being intellectual whereas language is only a medium of communication. Now we are trying to provide options to study science, technology and medicine in Indian languages.

PM Shree schools will open across the country

PM Modi said that as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, I myself went from village to village and requested all the people to send their daughters to school. The result was that today almost every son and daughter in Gujarat has started reaching school, going to college after school. He said that the Central Government has decided to build more than 14 and a half thousand PM Shri Schools across the country. These schools will be the model schools for the new National Education Policy across the country.

This is special in the new mission

The 'Mission Schools of Excellence' mission has been envisaged with a total outlay of Rs 10,000 crore. During the program at Trimandir, Prime Minister Modi launched projects worth about Rs 4260 crore. Mission Gujarat will help strengthen the education infrastructure through setting up of new classrooms, smart class rooms, computer labs and overall up-gradation of the infrastructure of schools in the state.
