Bihar News: Scams continue in Kaimur district of Bihar. The issue of scam in the name of cleaning garbage and making compost from it had not come to an end when once again the toilet scam came to light. In the investigation conducted by Block Development Officer Bhabua, payment for toilets has been made to 273 such fake beneficiaries who did not even get the toilets constructed.

Money was being sent to fake accounts of small banks

The biggest thing in this scam is that the payment amount has not been made in the accounts of any big bank, but the money has been sent to small banks like Airtel and Fino. The addresses of many of these account holders also turned out to be fake. In this case, the Block Development Officer has registered an FIR, in which the names of data operator of Bhabhua block office Nitish Kumar, data operator of the district headquarters Pankaj Kumar, former district coordinator Hemant and district advisor Yashwant Kumar are included. After the FIR was lodged by the BDO, when the district officer formed a five-member team and started investigating the entire matter, it was found that this payment was made from Dongal of Block Development Officer Bhabua. After this, their investigation team considered Block Development Officer Bhabhua also guilty and made a total of five people accused.

Scam of Rs 30 lakh in only one block

The biggest thing is that before payment of toilet amount, its spot verification is done and geo tagging is done. There is a provision for payment only after that. When the scam of payment of 273 toilets i.e. about Rs 30 lakh has been found in Bhabhua block in a small investigation, then if this entire matter is investigated in all the blocks of Kaimur district, then more scam cases will come to light. While giving information, Kaimur DDC Gajendra Prasad said that a case of paying for illegal fake toilets had come to light in Bhabhua block area. When the entire matter was investigated, payments were made to many ineligible beneficiaries. All this payment has been done through BDO's dongle, due to which BDO is also guilty in this. Departmental action will be initiated considering a total of five people including the BDO as guilty.

Bhabua BDO said - I was the one who got the investigation done, only I was made guilty.

While giving information on this matter, Block Development Officer Bhabua said that payment for the toilet was being made under ODF-2. Payment for which has to be made only after spot verification and geo tagging. Despite that, when the Chief Minister was on his visit to Kaimur, I was asked several times from the district to pay for the toilets. Then my ears perked up and I started investigating the whole matter. In this investigation it was found that payment has been made for 273 such toilets for which there is no proof. All of them are ineligible, after this I have filed an FIR against four people. Block Development Officer Bhabhua said that when the investigation team conducted the investigation, they were satisfied with all my statements, but I don't know under whose pressure I was also made guilty in this. We want that the entire matter should be investigated impartially. If not, then investigation should be done by Vigilance, because we have exposed this entire matter.
