Gyanvapi Survey: The survey of Gyanvapi campus has started again from today. After the decision of the High Court, the survey is starting again today. The ASI team has reached inside Gyanvapi to start the survey work from 7 am. The Allahabad High Court on Thursday dismissed the petition of the Anjuman Intezamia Masjid Committee. The court ordered to start the survey immediately following the order of the sessions court. The High Court has clearly said in its order that there will be no excavation during the survey. Meanwhile, after the order of the High Court, there has been an uproar around the Gyanvapi campus.

Security tight at Gyanvapi, IIT Kanpur team helping in survey

About 1600 jawans are deployed in security within 500 meters radius of Gyanvapi and Kashi Vishwanath. Police is also on alert, barricading has been increased. The survey team went inside near gate number five. Last time also the team gathered here. This time also this team has entered through this gate. Let us inform that last time the Muslim side had boycotted the survey. Today, during the survey, the members of the plaintiff side and their lawyers are with them. Along with this, government lawyers are also present during the survey. Along with the team of ASI, the team of IIT Kanpur is also helping, which is conducting the survey with the help of ground penetrating radar, so that the survey can be done in the Gyanvapi campus without any drilling or excavation.

The Muslim side demanded the Supreme Court to stop the survey

On the other hand, the Muslim side has demanded a stay on the ASI survey from the Supreme Court. Mentioning in the bench of the CJI, the Muslim side has demanded that the ASI survey should be banned. The Muslim side has said in the petition that the order of the Allahabad High Court was emailed. Even before the petition of the Muslim side, Rakhi Singh, the main petitioner in the Shringar Gauri case, has filed a caveat petition in the Supreme Court. In the petition of Rakhi Singh, it has been said that before any decision on the petition of the Muslim side, their side should also be heard. Not only this, the Buddhist society has also entered in this case. Guru Sumit Ratan Bhante has filed a petition in the Supreme Court. He claims that Gyanvapi is his Math. He said that there are many such temples in the country, which were built by demolishing Buddhist monasteries.
