Attack on congress government

On this occasion, while addressing a program organized at the party headquarters, BJP's national general secretary and state in-charge Arun Singh said that there is a lot of enthusiasm about taking membership of BJP in Rajasthan. He alleged that today every section of the state is troubled by the 'jungle king' and 'misgovernance' of the Congress government. He said, "Today the family of Bharatiya Janata Party is expanding further. People's faith and trust in BJP has increased." Union Minister Prahlad Joshi said that these leaders have joined the party on the basis of faith in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

"The party embraced me"

Former minister Devi Singh Bhati has returned to the party after five years. On this occasion, he said, "I have returned to BJP after 5 years. The party has embraced me. Due to some circumstances, I had parted ways at some point of time. I had a discussion with senior officials. Whatever grievances were there, they were resolved." I have also spoken to Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal. We both are satisfied. Together we will form the BJP government in 2023."

Campaigned against Meghwal

It is noteworthy that Devi Singh Bhati had left the party unhappy with Meghwal being made the candidate from Bikaner in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. He had openly campaigned against Meghwal. Meanwhile, there was talk of his return to the party for the last several months and he returned on Thursday. Bhati was elected MLA for the first time from Kolayat assembly constituency in 1980. From then till 2008, he was continuously elected as MLA from this seat. He lost the election in 2013. In 2018, BJP had given ticket to his daughter-in-law Poonam Kanwar, but she also lost the election to Congress candidate Bhanwar Singh Bhati.
