Speaking on the Surya Chauhan murder, CM Yogi Adityanath stated that the victim was betrayed in the name of friendship. He noted that inappropriate actions were taken against him during the festival of Bakrid, following which the police performed their duty by taking necessary action. The Chief Minister also directed a message toward parents, stating that if someone is unable to guide their unworthy children, they're committing a grave error. He described this as a significant failure that would lead to consequences. He reaffirmed that the state government's sympathies lie with law-abiding citizens, but those who play with the law will face strict repercussions without exception.
Land Rights for 1645 Displaced Families
Prior to his address, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath participated in a program to distribute land ownership certificates to families displaced from Pakistan, ex-servicemen, and leaseholders. He distributed land rights documents to 1645 families who had migrated from Pakistan. The Chief Minister highlighted that these families had been deprived of justice for decades, even as their ancestral properties were occupied. He noted that it's in the fourth generation that these displaced families are finally receiving the legal ownership of their lands. This initiative benefits approximately 8 to 10 thousand people who are now receiving these essential documents. The state government has ensured that these families finally receive their due rights.

He stated that the state government is committed to every aspect of cattle conservation, while he reminded the audience that the tradition of reverence and respect for the Gau Mata in India is centuries old. He reiterated that strict laws against cow slaughter are in effect in Uttar Pradesh and the government maintains zero tolerance on this matter.
