Nuh Violence: After the communal violence in Nuh, Haryana, a mahapanchayat was called by Hindu organizations in Pondari village of Palwal district, in which many important decisions were taken. In the Mahapanchayat, it was announced to take out the incomplete procession again on August 28 in Nuh itself. At the same time, compensation was also demanded for the victims of violence, apart from this, an NIA inquiry was demanded to punish the culprits.

Apart from Palwal district, people from Gurugram and other nearby places participated in the all-caste mahapanchayat convened on Sunday in Palwal district adjacent to Nuh. This panchayat lasted for about 5 hours. The police administration had given permission to the panchayat with the conditions of maximum gathering of 500 people in the panchayat, not giving hate speech or inflammatory speech during the address, not using weapons and ending the panchayat by 2 pm, but not only in the panchayat More than 1000 people gathered, but hate speech was also given. All this happened in the presence of the police.

Earlier it was planned to be called in Kira village of Nuh district but the administration did not allow it. Regarding the mahapanchayat, Palwal's Deputy Superintendent of Police (Headquarters) Sandeep Mor said that permission has been given for the panchayat, but only a limited number of people have been asked to participate in it. Along with this, it has been asked to avoid hate speech. Strict action will be taken against the culprits of hate speech.

10 big decisions taken in mahapanchayat

  • In the mahapanchayat under the banner of Sarv Hindu Samaj, a committee of 51 people from 52 Pal Sardari decided that an NIA inquiry should be conducted to get justice for the injured and dead in the Nuh violence. Earlier, tributes were paid to the departed souls in the violence that took place on 31 July.
  • 1-1 crore rupees should be given as compensation to the families of those who died in these riots. Along with this, a government job should also be given.
  • 50-50 lakhs should also be given to the families of those injured in the violence. Those who have suffered loss of life and property in the riots should be assessed and 100% compensation should be given.
  • Stringent laws should be made for the people who came from other countries, Bangladesh or Rohingya in Nuh district and should be thrown out of the district. Along with this, people should be given the facility to take license for self-defense and for this, concession should also be given in the law.
  • A headquarter of RAF or HAP should also be made in Mewat. So that security is provided and peace prevails in the area.
  • Those who have been involved in violence should be identified and punished severely. Along with this, the loss should also be compensated.
  • Haryana government should transfer all the cases related to violence from Mewat to Gurugram or other district. Apart from this, the headquarters of Nuh, Nuh district should be abolished.
  • This area should be declared a cow slaughter free district. Only then the problem will end. Apart from this, all people should keep cow in their homes.
  • On August 28, 52 Pal Panchayats have extended their support to the religious organizations demanding to take out a procession again from the Nalhad temple in Nuh. People of religious organizations demanded from the panchayat that the incomplete journey should be completed on 28 August. Which was accepted by the panchayat.
  • In Nuh violence, innocent people should be put out of trial and the culprits should be caught immediately.
