Lok Sabha Elections: There is a continuous brainstorm in the India alliance regarding seat sharing in the Lok Sabha elections. The Congress Committee, led by Mukul Wasnik for seat sharing, is starting a meeting from Friday for a second round of talks with allies of India alliance. The second round will be held at the Delhi residence of Congress leader Mukul Wasnik for seat sharing with the Samajwadi Party and then Aam Aadmi Party leaders. Decision could not be decided in the first round meeting

In the first round meeting regarding seat sharing, a formal meeting was held between the India alliance. If the Congress had to contest the elections in 2024, its proposal was submitted to the SP leaders, then the SP leaders gave their own formula to the Congress. In the same way, the Aam Aadmi Party and Congress also worked to focus each other's mind with seats. At present, the seats could not be decided in the first round conversation. After this, the Congress was asked to meet again on seat sharing with SP and Aam Aadmi Party on 12 January. The Congress, SP and Aam Aadmi Party are now meeting again after talking with their top leadership on the formula of the first round meeting.

The second round of meeting between Congress and SP leaders of India alliance will be held at Mukul Wasnik's residence regarding seat sharing of Uttar Pradesh. The Congress has made a plan by dividing 80 Lok Sabha seats in the state into three categories. In the first priority category, 35 seats have been kept while 25 seats are included in the second priority and 20 seats in the third priority. Ajay Rai is camping in Delhi by taking details of the potential candidates, vote bank status, political equation in all three categories, while SP is also in the mood to give 10 to 12 seats to the Congress. On behalf of SP, Mahasichav Ram Gopal Yadav and Javed Ali are talking with the Congress regarding seat sharing.

Seat sharing formula ready for 80 seats in UP

According to the Congress leaders, during the discussion on seat sharing in the first round meeting, the Congress had expressed his intention to field its candidates in all 35 seats with the first priority. In the meeting on Friday, there will be a detailed discussion on the seat sharing between the Congress and the SP. In this meeting, the seats of alliance alliance will also be discussed, in which the SP itself will contest elections in how many seats, RLD and Congress will contest how many seats will contest elections.

According to sources, the India alliance has prepared a seat sharing formula for 80 Lok Sabha seats of UP, under which SP will contest elections in 50 to 52 seats. The Congress can contest 18 to 20 seats in UP. RLD can get five seats. Apart from this, a seat can be left for Dalit leader Chandrashekhar Azad. Chandrashekhar has prepared to enter the election field from Nagina seat. Keshav Dev Maurya of the great party can also get a seat, but he will have to contest on the SP's symbol.

If Mayawati comes, a new formula will be decided again

Lalitesh Pati Tripathi, who left Congress and joining TMC, can also contest elections under the alliance. They can contest elections from SP quota or TMC. The India alliance also has an option for Subhaspa chief Om Prakash Rajbhar. If he leaves the NDA and comes to the INDIA alliance, then he can be given 2 to 3 Lok Sabha seats. If sources are to be believed, the formula of seat sharing of India coalition can change when the BSP comes under the alliance. Then the seat will be distributed in a new way, because a section of the Congress is in support of taking the BSP along. Apart from this, SP has objected to Congress seats.

At the same time, the Congress will churn on the seat sharing with the Aam Aadmi Party, whose meeting is also to be held in the evening. In the first round meeting, an attempt was made to seize the mind on seat sharing from both the parties. Aam Aadmi Party's Delhi convenor Gopal Rai said that his party will contest elections in an alliance with Congress in five states including Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat, Goa and Delhi. He had said that there is a need to put the official stand on the coalition by both sides.

If sources are to be believed, the Aam Aadmi Party has expressed his desire to contest 4 seats in seven Lok Sabha seats of Delhi under the alliance, while giving 3 seats to the Congress. The Congress is demanding the 3 seats in Delhi, North East Delhi, Chandni Chowk and New Delhi are parliamentary seats. At the same time, the Aam Aadmi Party can contest elections on East Delhi, South Delhi, North Delhi and West Delhi seats. The formal discussion between the two parties regarding seat sharing will begin on Friday, which will include Sandeep Pathak, Atishi, Saurabh Bhardwaj and Raghav Chadha on behalf of the Aam Aadmi Party. Raghav Chaddha was not involved in the first meeting, but he will attend today's meeting.
