New Delhi: The death toll due to coronavirus in India increased to 7 after a COVID-19 positive patient died in Gujarat on Sunday.According to details by the Health & Family Welfare Dept, Gujarat, the 69-year-old man died at Surat hospital. He was in the hospital for the last 4 days. It is the first death due to the virus in the state.
It may be stated that earlier in the day today, two people died due to coronavirus in India- one in Maharashtra and the other in Bihar.
India has reported a total of 341 coronavirus cases so far. Meanwhile, PM Modi urged people to follow Janta Curfew on March 22, and stay at home in order to combat coronavirus.
