In Jalore district of Rajasthan, the matter of death of a Dalit student in school is not yet resolved, meanwhile, in the border Barmer district also, a case of assault on a Dalit student by a teacher has come to the fore. Like Jalore, this matter has caught up in Barmer too. Various Dalit organizations have registered their protest in this matter, after which the police took the accused teacher into custody.

The case is of a government school in Barmer city, where the child studies in class VII. It is being told that after the assault, the child fainted in the school itself, who was admitted to the government hospital for treatment.

Did not give complete answers in class test

The family members of the child allege that during the class test, the child did not answer the questions asked by the teacher, after which the angry teacher started beating the child. Meanwhile, when the child asked the reason for the assault, the teacher pushed him down, causing him a head injury.

It was told that the child suffered head and stomach injuries due to assault by the teacher. The child's brother, who studies in the same school, informed the other teachers of the school, after which a female teacher took the child to the hospital. Doctor Dilip Chaudhary, who is treating the hospitalized child, said that the child is complaining of pain in the stomach and head, but there is no serious injury, the condition of the child is fine. The teacher went into hiding after the beating

It was told that after the incident, Ashok Mali, the teacher who assaulted him, hid somewhere, but on getting the information, the police reached the spot and found the accused. Who was later taken into custody. Police said that the accused is being questioned, but till now no complaint has been received from the family members.
