Police stations in the dark, traffic light points also remained closed

Most of the traffic light points in the city remained closed due to power outage. However, traffic policemen were stationed at these light points. Policemen parked at intersections and light points from morning till evening and got vehicles out. This did not cause any problem to the people. At the same time, during the strike in Sector-17, adequate arrangements were made for the security of the police. On the other hand, computers remained shut for several hours due to no electricity in many police stations of the city. At the same time, work was not affected due to battery backup in some police stations.

Police officials said that around 100 policemen were deployed during the strike.
