Delhi Metro Blue Line: Delhi Metro, which is called the life line of Delhi, became a lifeline for the people for a few hours. People had to wait a long time at the metro station due to technical fault. Delhi Metro said that services were affected on Monday due to a technical fault in the Blue Line corridor. Train services between Yamuna Bank and Indraprastha station of Blue Line remained suspended for sometime.

The UP line (going towards Dwarka) remained affected from 06.35 PM to 8:00 PM today for repair work of broken contact wire (part of OHE). According to Delhi Metro, this problem occurred due to a bird hitting the OHE/Pantograph of the train.

Due to this defect, a shuttle train service was provided for passengers to travel between Indraprastha and Yamuna Bank stations. However, normal services were restored on the entire Blue Line from Dwarka Sector-21 to Noida Electronic City/Vaishali from 8 pm onwards.
