The review meeting of the Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot Council of Ministers regarding the situation of Corona in the state ended. In this, the experts associated with the Corona Core Group gave a presentation. After brainstorming on the current situation, the CM will now once again review the guidelines. The Home Department will modify and keep a new draft for the approval of the CM. After this, a new guideline can be issued in a day or two.

At the same time, during the meeting, the experts advised to strictly follow the guidelines, focusing on the red zone areas. Said that the deaths from Omicron may be decreasing right now, but it should not be taken lightly. Emphasis will have to be given to strictly follow the guidelines of ICMR. At the beginning of the meeting, the CM said that in view of the threat of Omicron, the government has imposed many restrictions. Work in coordination with the concerned department at the local level and get the guidelines followed.

Gehlot said - study on Omicron's post covid result

In the meeting, Gehlot said that till now no one knows what the post covid effects can be after getting infected with Omicron. Those infected in the Delta variant of Corona had to face many types of post covid problems. Till now no one know about Omicron post result result. It is very important to study its results.

Some experts, citing the WHO, said that there is no need to fear Omicron. WHO has said that relaxation can be given in this. After this opinion of the expert, the CM said to take a decision only after studying.

Experts said - control overcrowding, strictly necessary

During the review meeting, experts suggested that it is very important to control in congested areas. The infection spreads rapidly in overcrowding, it is important to take care of it. Wherever there is negligence, there is an increase in infection.

Concern over high positivity rate

In the meeting, experts told that the positivity rate in 15 districts of Rajasthan is around 15 to 20 percent as a serious matter. In view of the increasing positive cases, emphasis has been asked on Kovid Appropriate Behavior. Experts have asked to focus on vaccination.

Advice on increasing genome sequencing

Experts have advised to emphasize on genome sequencing to keep an eye on the new variant of corona. SMS has the facility of genome sequencing. Along with setting up of genome sequencing labs at the divisional headquarters, it has also been suggested to increase the capacity in Jaipur. Experts believe that regular genome sequencing is necessary to track new variants.

Create containment zones at more than 10% infection rate

According to the guidelines of the Indian Council of Medical Research ICMR, there is a positivity rate of more than 10 percent, it is necessary to impose restrictions by creating a containment zone in those areas. That level of strictness has not yet been done in most areas in Rajasthan.

Collectors can also impose restrictions in Red Zone

There are 100 active cases per 1 lakh population in cities, they have been kept in the red zone. In areas with red zones, collectors can impose restrictions at the local level. These include restrictions like mini lockdown to creating containment zones. Till now the collector has not taken strict action.
