Ram Mandir Ayodhya: On the question of visiting Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Congress National General Secretary Sachin Pilot said that no invitation is required to visit Ram Temple. Whenever I feel like it, I will go. His companions keep visiting various pilgrimage sites in the country. This is a religious issue. It is wrong to do politics on this. We all believe in Lord Ram and will continue to believe in him, but the way BJP wants to take advantage is wrong. On Wednesday, Sachin Pilot was talking to the media at the state Congress headquarters.

He said that if you want to do politics then do it on issues. Do politics on the poor, farmers, labourers, economic policies and how to reduce inflation. He said that you are providing cheap food to 80 crore people in the country. You are saying that we have evolved too much. If BJP does some work then it is Shramdaan. Is a contribution. It is a good policy and if other parties do it then it is a reed. There should be discussion on issues, there should be elections on issues, we are all ready for this. What is being done to garner votes by doing politics on emotional issues is wrong. I don't think it will make much difference.

Struggle over division of ministers' departments

Sachin Pilot Pilot said that it is the prerogative of the Chief Minister to allot departments to the ministers. It is the right of the CM to give which department to which minister. Senior BJP leader Dr. Kirori Lal Meena, who fought for BJP for 5 years, was not given justice.

He said that people were expecting that he would be given a big post, but even the post was not given and the department given was also cut down to a very limited extent (Agriculture Department). Other departments were not given in it. This decision is of the government and BJP, but what we see from outside is that justice was not done to them for the hard work they had done for their party.

Pilot took a jibe at the ministers' statement

Pilot said that it took a long time for him to become a minister in the BJP government. Some may be under stress. On the statements of ministers, he said that people holding high positions should give statements after thinking. Many such cases have come to light recently, in which people holding high positions have slipped their tongues. Have said wrong things. They should take care. The government is newly formed. They still have a lot to do and problems are arising in the beginning.
