This embedded chip serves as a secure repository for a wealth of information pertaining to the passport holder, including personal details, biometric data, and other essential security credentials. He emphasized that e-Passports aren't only convenient and secure but also designed to save valuable time at airports and are fully compliant with international airport regulations. With the new e-Passport, travelers will no longer need to endure lengthy waits at immigration counters for verification. The process has been simplified: travelers will simply need to tap their e-Passport's e-chip onto a designated touch screen at the entry gate, which will then automatically open.
