Delhi skipper Shreyas Iyer’s 52 coupled with Shikhar Dhawan’s 50 helped Delhi Capitals post 187/5 in an Indian Premier League (IPL) match against Royal Challengers Bangalore in Delhi on Sunday, 28 April.

The Bangalore bowlers headed by spinner Yuzvendra Chahal (2/41) took wickets at regular intervals despite Dhawan and Iyer getting their fifties to limit Delhi to a good total.

Earlier in the game, Virat Kohli lost his ninth toss as skipper. With 8 points in their kitty, RCB need to win every game to give themselves a chance of making the playoffs. Delhi on the other hand are looking for their eighth win in 12 matches.

It was a good bowling display by the Bangalore as all the regular bowlers were amongst the wickets. Sherfane Rutherford and Axar Patel added 46 off 19 balls for Delhi in the death overs.
