India / Monsoon will remain kind in Delhi for the whole week, heavy rain on July 6

New Delhi : The rainy season will continue in the capital Delhi for the next week. Meanwhile, especially on 6th July, there may be heavy rain in different parts of Delhi. Light rain was recorded in different parts of Delhi on Friday as well. With the arrival of monsoon in Delhi, people have got a lot of relief from the heat. Most parts of Delhi remained cloudy since Friday morning.

It rained lightly in between. Due to this there has been a significant drop in the maximum temperature of the day. The maximum temperature recorded at Delhi's Standard Observatory was 31.9 degrees Celsius, which is five degrees below normal. Whereas, the minimum temperature was 23 degree Celsius. This is also five degrees below normal. The humidity level here ranged from 98 to 80 percent.

The Meteorological Department has predicted that this blessing of clouds and rain will continue on Delhi for now. There will be light rain in between in the next six days. Whereas, there may be heavy rain on 6th July. For this, an orange alert has also been issued by the Meteorological Department.

Delhi's air reached satisfactory category

The effect of continuous rain in Delhi has also been seen on the air. Due to rain, the pollutant particles present in the atmosphere are washed away. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, Delhi's average air quality index stood at 76 on Friday. This level of air is classified as satisfactory. SAFAR estimates that this level of clean air quality will remain for the next three days.
