However this arrangement is optional. CM Bhagwant Mann said that even after 75 years of independence, poor people have to stand in lines to get their ration.

On the other hand the world has become digital. Any item ordered is delivered to your home. Poor people also have to give up daily wages to get their ration. Elderly mothers go for two kilometers and bring ration from the depot.

Sometimes the quality of wheat-rice is not edible but has to be eaten. We will finish this. Our government has decided that we will deliver ration to your home. Now the edible ration will reach your home without waiting in line. Our officials will ask for the delivery time and at the same time the ration will reach your home.

Mann's big decisions

First compensation to farmers, later Girdawari: On 26 March itself, CM Bhagwant Mann has announced that now farmers will be given compensation first and later the Girdawari process will be completed if the crop is destroyed due to natural calamity in the state. CM made this announcement while giving compensation to cotton farmers in Mansa.

One MLA-One Pension: Recently, the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab has taken a big decision. CM Bhagwant Mann announced deduction on pension of current and former MLAs. Allowances given to the families of MLAs will also be cut. At the same time, now the MLAs and former MLAs of Punjab will get pension for only one term, no matter how many times they have won.

Anti-Corruption Helpline Number Released: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann released the Anti-Corruption Helpline Number 9501200200 on Martyrs' Day and vowed to completely crack down on bribery from government offices in Punjab within a month. Mann said that strict action would be taken against his ministers, MLAs, officers and government servants if they were found taking bribe.

35 thousand employees will be regular: Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has also announced to make sure 35 thousand raw employees of Group C and D. He had also directed the Chief Secretary to stop the contractual employment practice. Mann government will introduce a bill to regularize employees in the upcoming assembly session.
