For the past few days in the states of Northwest and Central India of the country, the outbreak of severe heat and heat will continue even today. There are more than nine states where summer is haunting. The situation will remain the same on Monday as well. At the same time, a low pressure line has formed from Vidarbha in Maharashtra to South Interior Karnataka. Due to this, during the last 24 hours, light to moderate rain occurred at isolated places over Kerala, Interior Tamil Nadu and Sikkim, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.

On Monday, severe heat wave conditions are likely over most parts of Rajasthan, parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh and West Madhya Pradesh. At the same time, heat wave conditions will prevail over East Rajasthan, East Madhya Pradesh, parts of Jharkhand, Vidarbha, East Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat and parts of Chhattisgarh.

Parts of Northwest and Central India of the country are scorching due to scorching heat these days. There is no hope of relief here yet. The period of heat will continue in Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, UP, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh. The mercury is expected to be much higher than normal in these states.

Cyclonic Circulation over Bay of Bengal

A Cyclonic Circulation is persisting over South-West Bay of Bengal. On the other hand, a low pressure line from Vidarbha to South Interior Karnataka is passing through Marathwada and North Interior Karnataka. According to the Meteorological Department, a new Western Disturbance is likely to approach the Western Himalayas by the night of April 12. Due to its impact, the maximum temperature is likely to drop by 2-3 degree Celsius in many parts of Northwest India.

According to Skymet Weather, Kerala, Interior Tamil Nadu and Sikkim, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh received heavy to very heavy rainfall at a few places during the last 24 hours. Rest of Northeast India, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Interior Tamil Nadu, Coastal Karnataka and parts of Lakshadweep received light to moderate rains. Scattered light rain occurred over North Interior Karnataka and Jammu and Kashmir.

During 24 hours, light to moderate rain with isolated heavy falls is likely over Sikkim, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya, Tamil Nadu's Arunachal Pradesh and Kerala. Light to moderate rain may occur over rest of Northeast India and Coastal Karnataka.
