Corona Crisis / PM Modi chaired a high level meeting to review the availability & supply of oxygen and medicines

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a high-level meeting on Wednesday to review the availability and supply of oxygen and medicines. During this, PM Modi was informed that the medicines being given to Kovid-19 patients are constantly being monitored by the government. Along with this, the Prime Minister was also informed during the meeting that the Minister is in constant touch with the drug manufacturers to increase the production of medicines and all kind of help is being provided as per the requirement.

The PM was informed about the current stock of medicines and it was informed that a large number of medicines are being given to the states. During the high-level meeting, Prime Minister Modi was informed that during the last few weeks, production of all other types of medicines used in Covid-19, including Remdesiver, has been increased rapidly.

Prime Minister Modi said that the pharmaceutical sector of India is very efficient, the government will continue to work in close coordination to ensure proper availability of all medicines. PM Modi further said that the Prime Minister said that the states should make the ventilator operational in a time bound manner, solve the technical, training issue with the help of manufacturers.
