Rajasthan Budget 2023 : The budget session of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly will begin on January 23. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot met Governor Kalraj Mishra at Raj Bhavan on Thursday night. After this, the governor has given approval to convene the session from 23rd. The session will start with the address of Governor Kalraj Mishra. For this, the Gehlot government will form a committee which will prepare the speech. After this the budget will be presented. It is believed that the state budget may come in February. This will be the last budget of the current Gehlot government's tenure. Apart from this, many bills can also be kept in the house. The ruling party and the opposition will soon start preparations for the session. BJP will surround the government in the House on matters like increasing crime and paper leak. Earlier, the governor had prorogued the last session.


CM Ashok Gehlot will focus on the next election by presenting the budget and breathtaking announcements will be made for the public in the budget so that the Congress party can form the government again. Union Ministry of Finance and Statistics, in the investigation of the economic growth rate of 17 states of the country for the year 21-22, Rajasthan has got the second place in the country with the economic growth rate of 11.04. In terms of annual economic growth rate in the country, Andhra Pradesh ranks first at 11.43, followed by Rajasthan at 11.04, followed by Bihar, Telangana, Delhi, Odisha. Madhya Pradesh has been at the seventh position in the country under the BJP rule. The Rajasthan government had signed MoUs worth Rs 67 crore for new investments this year.
