Delhi News: School teachers will not be put on Covid duty at Delhi airport. The District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) withdrew its order deputing school teachers on Covid duty at the Delhi airport from December 31 to January 15. The authority says that civil defense staff will be deployed at the airport if needed.

What was the decision earlier?

Earlier it was reported that teachers of Delhi government schools would be posted at Delhi airport from December 31 to January 15. The purpose behind deputing government teachers at the airport was to find out whether the passengers coming from abroad are following the Kovid rules or not.

Significantly, schools will remain closed in Delhi during this period. That is why the duty of teachers was imposed at the airport. Let us tell you that in view of the increasing cases of corona, random COVID-19 testing is being done at all the airports of the country including Delhi airport.
