Ahmedabad received 219 mm of rain on Sunday night. At the same time, a red alert has been issued in 6 districts including Surat.


Here, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan received heavy rains on Monday. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for 33 districts including Bhopal, Indore and Jabalpur of MP. Heavy rain is expected here for the next three days. At the same time, many areas of Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh are still craving for rain. It is expected to rain here after 4 days.


Gujarat: Red alert of rain in 6 districts including Surat

Last 24 Hours: Rain continues in Gujarat for the last three days. Ahmedabad received 219 mm of rain on Sunday night, flooding residential areas and roads. Schools and colleges in the city remained closed on Monday. State Disaster Management Minister Rajendra Trivedi said that so far 9000 people have been re-located. While 468 people have been rescued.


Next 24 hours: Red alert has been issued in 6 districts including Surat due to the possibility of heavy rains. 13 dams in the state are on high alert. Coast Guard including NDRF have also been alerted here.
