Minor side effects are common after the corona virus vaccine. However, a rare neurological disorder is also being seen in some people with AstraZeneca-Oxford's corona vaccine. The name of this disease related to the nervous system is Guillain-Berry syndrome.

According to two separate studies, this disease has been found in a total of 11 people so far. Out of this, 7 cases are from India and four cases are from Nottingham in UK. All of them had received the AstraZeneca vaccine 10-22 days before the diagnosis of the disease. In India, this vaccine is being given to people in the name of Kovishield.

In Guillain-Berry syndrome (GBS), the body's immune system mistakenly attacks parts of the nervous system. These nerves are outside the brain and spinal cord.

Both these studies, published in the journal Annals of Neurology, featured prominently in Guillain-Berry syndrome. According to the study, this is a rare type of disease in which mainly the nerves of the face become weak.

Researchers found that most people in India got the disease within two weeks of the first dose of the vaccine. All 7 of these people were found to have severe symptoms of Guillain-Berry syndrome. According to the study, this disease spread at a faster rate than expected in such a short time.

According to the study, both sides of the face of these people were weak and hanging due to the disease. This is usually the case in less than 20 percent of Guillain-Berry syndrome cases. This study tells about the vaccination and a kind of pattern associated with this disease.

"The SARS-CoV-2 vaccine is very safe, yet we have found four cases of Guillain-Berry syndrome within three weeks of receiving the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine," said study author from Nottingham University Hospital.

"We recommend caution in cases of facial muscle weakness from Guillain-Berry syndrome following a vaccine for SARS-CoV-2," the researchers said. The results of the study will help in monitoring such cases post-vaccine.

According to the study, the woman had a sudden miscarriage in the fifth month of pregnancy. This is the first case of this syndrome in a COVID-19 pregnant woman in which the child died suddenly inside the abdomen.
