Rajasthan: The 369 feet high Shiva statue 'Vishvas Swaroopam' built in Nathdwara town of Rajsamand district in Rajasthan will be inaugurated on Saturday. It is claimed that this statue of Lord Shiva with a thoughtless and meditative posture is the tallest Shiva statue in the world. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, narrator Murari Bapu, yoga guru Baba Ramdev, Speaker of the Assembly Dr. CP Joshi will also be present in the launch program. Let us tell you that the beauty of this statue visible from outside is that 10 thousand people can come together in the hall built inside it, that is, a village or town can settle in this statue.

Religious and cultural programs will be held for 9 days

The statue has been built by Tat Padam Sansthan. After the inauguration of the statue, Madan Paliwal, trustee of the institute and president of the Miraj Group, said that from October 29 to November 6, there would be religious, spiritual and cultural programs for nine days. During this, Murari will also recite Bapu Ram Katha. Program spokesperson Jayaprakash Mali said that Lord Shiva is in a meditative and allied posture in this statue built on a hill of 51 bighas on Ganesh Tekri of Nathdwara.

World's only statue in which lift, stairs, hall for devotees

Mali claimed, "The world's tallest Shiva statue has its own distinctive feature. This 369 feet high statue will be the only such statue in the world, in which lift, stairs, hall for devotees have been built. The construction of the statue took 10 years and used 3000 tonnes of steel and iron, 2.5 lakh cubic tonnes of concrete and sand.” The foundation of the project was laid in August 2012 in the presence of the then Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Murari Bapu. This place is about 45 kms from Udaipur city.

These are the world's tallest Shiva idols

Let us tell you that some of the tallest Shiva idols in the world are Kailashnath Temple (143 ft) in Nepal, Murudeshwar Temple (123 ft) in Karnataka and Adiyoga Temple (112 ft) in Tamil Nadu. Nestled in the Aravalli hills, Nathdwara is famous for the Shrinathji Temple built by Maharana Raj Singh of Mewar in the 17th century.
