Rajasthan Politics: Alwar Rural MLA and former minister Tikaram Julie has been made the leader of opposition. All India Congress Committee issued these orders on Tuesday. This time Congress has decided to give the responsibility of the post of Leader of Opposition to a Dalit face. For the first time in the history of Rajasthan Assembly, a Dalit face has been made the Leader of Opposition. Till now, no one from Congress or BJP had made a Dalit the leader of the opposition. Govind Singh Dotasara will remain the state president.

Tikaram Julie has become MLA from Alwar Rural for the third time. He was the first Minister of State in the Gehlot government, after which he was promoted and made a Cabinet Minister. Julie Bhanwar is considered close to Jitendra Singh. Jitendra Singh is believed to have played a big role in making Julie the leader of opposition.

Congress adopted the formula of Jat-Dalit combination

This time Congress has adopted the formula of Jat Dalit combination. For the first time, Congress has tried to tap a bigger vote bank by making a Dalit leader the Leader of Opposition. Govind Singh Dotasara has been retained as the state president as a Jat face. This formula has been adopted after a long time. Now Congress has adopted the strategy of giving a message to two big vote banks before the Lok Sabha elections by giving a chance to a Jat face as the state president and a Dalit face as the leader of opposition.
