During this, two empty cartridges were found from the bus taking the players to the stadium. There was a stir as soon as the empty cartridges were found from the bus. As soon as the information was received, there was a gathering of senior officers from the police station to The Lalit Hotel located in IT Park.

Police said that the security wing officials were closely checking the bus before the Indian team players boarded the bus and left. During this, two empty cartridges were recovered from the police in the luggage compartment of the bus. After this the police was informed. On checking, the CFSL team reached the spot on the instructions of the police officers and found that both the cartridges were gone. Both the recovered shells have been seized and taken by the CFSL team for investigation. It is being told that the bus had come from Jalandhar from a wedding ceremony. IT Park police station has started investigating the matter.

Weather disturbed, players did indoor practice

Earlier on Saturday, rain disturbed the practice of the Indian team, which had arrived at the PCA Stadium, and the team had to practice at the indoor nets. In the afternoon, wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant also reached Mohali, but he did not practice. The same Sri Lanka Test team has also reached Chandigarh. Due to the Kovid-19 protocol, the team is completing its quarantine time by staying in the hotel. Only then will the team go to practice.

The rain also disrupted the practice of the Indian cricket team at the nets. The practice time was earlier kept at 12 o'clock, but due to bad weather, the practice time was shifted to 1 pm. After this, the players first started running on the ground after warming up on fitness and then started practicing on the nets. It was only a short time after practice started in the nets that it started raining. After this the players practiced in the nets indoors.
