A train accident happened in Gujarat's Valsad district on Monday night. Two passengers died in this. Railway officials said, both the deceased were relatives and were going to Patna. The accident happened near Vapi railway station at around 10.15 pm.
Railway officials said that the Bandra Terminus-Patna train halts for five minutes at Vapi station. During this time there is a huge crowd of passengers to board the train. As soon as the train stopped at Vapi station, both the passengers ran to cross the railway line wrongly to board it. During this, both of them came under the grip of Goa Sampark Kranti train coming from the other side and fell victim to the accident. Officials said that one passenger had died on the spot. While the other died during treatment in the hospital.
