Former Chief Minister Uma Bharti had said on social media on Monday that respect and affection remained with Shivraj Singh Chouhan from 1984 to March 2022. He further wrote that in every meeting for two years, he talked about prohibition. After which Shivraj has insulted him and why has he started talking through the media. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan talked about starting drug de-addiction campaign in Makhan Nagar in Narmadapuram. To which Uma Bharti said that I support and welcome the government's de-addiction campaign. I will also participate in this from time to time.

Uma also said that it is the policy of the government that there should be no liquor shop in schools, colleges, temples and where citizens and women have objections. Wherever there is an objection to all these things like drinking liquor in the open premises in such places, the government should ensure the implementation of its policy. So that there is no dissatisfaction among women and citizens and the daughters and peace loving citizens of the state are not compelled to protest like Deori.

Congress took a jibe

On this, Congress spokesperson Narendra Saluja took a jibe at Uma Bharti and said that Uma Bharti ji, why are you unable to stick to your words. Why so much change in your thoughts in just 4 and a half hours? Don't you know the difference between alcoholism and de-addiction?
