Gujrat / Vande Bharat Express rams into cattle in Gujarat second such incident in two days

Gujrat | The accident has occurred for the second consecutive day with the indigenous bullet train Vande Bharat. Cattle collided with a train for the second time in a row in Gujarat on Friday. The front portion of the train again suffered minor damage.

The Railway Protection Force (RPF) has registered a case against the owners of these cattle in connection with the Vande-Bharat Express train colliding with a herd of buffaloes in Gujarat on Thursday morning. In a statement issued by the Western Railway, it was said that the area damaged after colliding with a herd of buffaloes has been repaired in Mumbai.

The recently started Mumbai Central-Gandhinagar Vande Bharat train collided with a herd of buffaloes on the track near Ahmedabad at around 11:15 am on Thursday. The train was going towards Gandhinagar at that time. Four buffaloes died in the accident. Jitendra Kumar Jayant, Senior Spokesperson (Ahmedabad Division) of Western Railway said, "The RPF has registered an FIR against unknown owners of buffaloes coming on the way of Vande Bharat train between Vatva and Maninagar railway stations in Ahmedabad."
