Lok Sabha Elections / Voting in first phase on 102 seats, last date for withdrawal of names today

Lok Sabha Elections: Candidates for the 102 seats where voting is to be held in the first phase of Lok Sabha elections can withdraw their names till Saturday. The last date for withdrawal of nomination for the first phase is March 30. Let us tell you that the first phase of Lok Sabha elections is starting from 19th April. On this day, voting will be held on 102 Lok Sabha seats in 21 states and union territories. Actually, in the remaining 20 states the last date for withdrawal of names is 30th March but in Bihar the names can be withdrawn till 2nd April. The last date for filing nominations for 102 seats in these states and union territories was March 27. But it was 28th March in Bihar.

Where will the voting take place in the first phase?

In the first phase, 2 from Arunachal Pradesh, 4 from Bihar, 5 from Assam, 1 from Chhattisgarh, 6 from Madhya Pradesh, 5 from Maharashtra, 2 from Manipur, 2 from Meghalaya, 1 from Mizoram, 1 from Nagaland, 12 from Rajasthan, Sikkim. 1 Lok Sabha seat is included in Tamil Nadu, 39 in Tripura, 8 in Uttar Pradesh, 5 in Uttarakhand, 3 in West Bengal, 1 in Andaman and Nicobar, 1 in Jammu and Kashmir, 1 in Lakshadweep and 1 in Puducherry.

Voting in seven phases, results on June 4

Let us tell you that voting will be held in seven phases for 543 seats of Lok Sabha. The first phase will start from April 19. The second phase of voting will take place on 26 April. The third phase of voting will be held on May 7, the fourth phase on May 13, the fifth phase on May 20, the sixth phase on May 25, while the last phase of voting will be held on June 1. The results will come on June 4.
