WEATHER ALERT / When will there be relief from severe cold, where will it rain; IMD alerted

Cold wave is likely to subside gradually over North-West and Central India after Saturday, while it will rain over North-West, East and Northeast India from February 2 to 4. According to the India Meteorological Department, there is no significant change in the minimum temperature over most parts of North-West and Central India during the next 24 hours and thereafter gradually 4- There will be an increase of 6 °C.

What will be the change in temperature?

According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature is likely to rise by 3-5 degrees Celsius over most parts of northwest and central India till February 2 and fall thereafter. Wind speed reaching 15-25 kmph is very likely over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh during the next four days. No significant change in minimum temperature is likely to occur over East India during next 3 days and thereafter it will drop to 2-4 degree Celsius.

Outbreak of cold wave will continue

According to the IMD, there is a possibility of cold wave in isolated areas of Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh, West Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan during the next 24 hours. However, after this the outbreak of cold wave will be less. It is very likely to remain cold at isolated places over Uttar Pradesh and East Rajasthan during the next 24 hours and will reduce thereafter.

When will you get relief from severe cold?

According to the India Meteorological Department, during the next 24 hours, there will be severe cold in isolated areas of Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh and after that the winter havoc is likely to subside gradually. Cold wave conditions are very likely to occur at isolated places over Madhya Pradesh, Odisha during next two days and over Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh during next 24 hours and thereafter it will reduce gradually.

According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain is likely over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on January 31 and February 1. During the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of rain and thundershowers in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.

According to the IMD, light rain is very likely to occur over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala and Mahe during the next four days and at isolated places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 48 hours.
