July 28: The list of 40 lakh beneficiaries will be finalized

July 30: The camp site will be selected.

August 7 to 9: Mock drill will be organized regarding the camps, in which smartphones will be distributed to 10-10 beneficiaries.

August 10: The Chief Minister will launch the 'Indira Gandhi Smartphone Yojana'. After this, the camps set up in every district will be opened for the beneficiaries.

First the female head of these families will get a free smartphone?

In the first phase, 40 lakh women will be selected. But smart phones will be given first to those Chiranjeevi families, whose girls are studying in government schools from 10th to 12th standard. Or families whose daughters are studying in higher educational institutions (college, ITI or polytechnic), they will be given the benefit of this scheme in the first phase.

Apart from this, women getting widow or single women pension have also been included in this list.

In MNREGA, priority will be given to families that work for 100 days in the year 2022-23.

The state government will pay a total of Rs 6800 with Rs 6125 for mobile purchase and Rs 675 for data recharge. Zone - 1 : Helpdesk for Document Check Area

What will happen here? : Help desk team will have to check Jan Aadhaar Card, Jan Aadhaar registered mobile number identification, Aadhaar Card, Photo and other documents for e-KYC. If there is any deficiency then he will be asked to complete the document.

After checking all the documents, the beneficiary will be given complete information about receiving the phone. It will be told how to download Jan Aadhaar e-wallet app in the phone, where to get the SIM, etc.

Zone - 2 : Pre Registration Counters and Eligibility Check

What will happen here? : Here the officials of DOIT will identify the beneficiary eligibility whether you are eligible for this scheme or not. For this, they will match your mobile number in the list they have. If you are eligible, Jan Aadhaar Card, E-Wallet, KYC Form, Telecom Service Provider Form will be filled here.

Zone - 3 : Sim Selection & Sales Counter

What will happen here? : Here you will find telecom service provider companies. Like- Airtel, Jio, Vodafone-Idea, BSNL etc. Here, after filling the e-KYC, the beneficiary will also be able to choose the SIM and data plan of the network of his choice, 4G or 5G.

Zone - 4 : Phone Selection & Sales Counter

What will happen here? : Here the beneficiary will be able to buy the mobile phone of his choice from the authorized dealers of the mobile companies. Here companies will give you many smartphone options. Beneficiaries will be free to go to the dealer of any company and buy any phone out of 4G or 5G.

Zone - 5 : Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT)

What will happen here? : Beneficiary's e-wallet KYC process has to be completed.

The information about the mobile and SIM selected by the beneficiary will be entered in the Mukhyamantri Digital Seva Yojana (MDSY) platform.

Now the fixed Rs 6800 from the government will be transferred to the beneficiary through e-wallet.

Now if the beneficiary has chosen an expensive mobile, then he will have to pay Rs 6800 from the government as well as the rest of the money to the dealer from his pocket.

Zone - 6 : Digital Hand Holding Area

What will happen here? : Here many types of digital activities will be done to the beneficiary, so that how to operate the smartphone, how to read the news, how to read the scheme of the government will be told.

Where will these camps be held, how to reach?

Most of the camps will be held in government schools, panchayat samiti offices or other government buildings which have at least 5 rooms and enough space for people to assemble. By July 30, the District Collector will decide the place where the camp will be held. Once the venue is fixed, the venue will be informed through advertisements.

• Collectors have to select one camp site in every block and 2 to 6 sites in urban area.

Answer: The state government has decided to give a fixed amount (Rs 6800) to the female head. What to do once the recharge is over?

Answer: The state government has fixed Rs 75 for data consumption every month. At present, the beneficiary will have to take their data plan from the Telecom Service Provider (Jio, Airtel, Vodafone-Idea or BSNL) in the camp. This plan will end after 9 months i.e. on 31st March. Now after this, before April 1, 900 rupees will be deposited in the beneficiary's account for the whole year. With this you can buy data plan according to your need. How will I know whether I am a beneficiary or not?
