Smartphone Yojana: The scheme to distribute free smartphones to more than 1 crore 30 lakh women of Rajasthan will be launched on August 10. Like- Airtel, Jio, Vodafone-Idea, BSNL etc. Here, after filling the e-KYC, the beneficiary will also be able to choose the SIM and data plan of the network of his choice, 4G or 5G.Zone - 4 : Phone Selection & Sales CounterWhat will happen here? : Here the beneficiary will be able to buy the mobile phone of his choice from the authorized dealers of the mobile companies. Here companies will give you many smartphone options. Beneficiaries will be free to go to the dealer of any company and buy any phone out of 4G or 5G.Zone - 5 : Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT)What will happen here? : Beneficiary's e-wallet KYC process has to be completed.The information about the mobile and SIM selected by the beneficiary will be entered in the Mukhyamantri Digital Seva Yojana (MDSY) platform.Now the fixed Rs 6800 from the government will be transferred to the beneficiary through e-wallet.Now if the beneficiary has chosen an expensive mobile, then he will have to pay Rs 6800 from the government as well as the rest of the money to the dealer from his pocket.Zone - 6 : Digital Hand Holding AreaWhat will happen here? : Here many types of digital activities will be done to the beneficiary, so that how to operate the smartphone, how to read the news, how to read the scheme of the government will be told.
