District Magistrate of Patna Dr. Chandrashekhar told about the incident that he is a resident of Munger. The name of the young man is Nitish Kumar and he had a medal in his hand. The name of the young man's father is Rajeshwar Mandal.

He told that the youth's father was martyred during elections in 1996 and he was a soldier of BMP. After being martyred, the young man protested in front of the Chief Minister regarding the reinstatement on compassionate grounds.
