Pride lost the battle of life / 4-year-old child dies after falling in 40 feet deep borewell in Umaria

A 4-year-old boy, Gaurav, who fell into a borewell in Barchhad of Umaria district, died on Thursday. He was rescued at around 4 am on Thursday morning. After the rescue, the child was taken to Barhi Community Health Center in Katni district, where doctors declared him brought dead. Dr Rajamani Patel has given the cause of death of the child as drowning in water and unable to breathe. According to the doctor, the child had died 7 to 8 hours before he was brought to the hospital.

Let us tell you that borewell work was being done in the field of Bhola Dubey in village Barchhad of Umaria district. The pit was open. Then Bhola's 4-year-old nephew Gaurav Santosh Dubey reached there while playing and fell into the open borewell. Hearing the sound of crying, he came to know about his fall. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police-administration team reached the spot.

Medical team was also sent to save the child, excavation is being done by JCB. Also more machines were called so that excavation could be done faster. Oxygen was also being supplied in the pit for the child. The team of State Disaster Management Team had also reached to save the child, but even after all the efforts of the administration, the child could not be saved.
