Lok Sabha Election: There is a meeting between Samajwadi Party and Congress today i.e. Wednesday at 4 pm in Delhi regarding seat sharing. On behalf of Samajwadi Party, Ram Gopal Yadav, Javed Ali Khan, Lalji Verma, Udayveer Singh and Sangram Yadav will attend the meeting. On behalf of Akhilesh Yadav, it has been said that Congress should also name its candidates for the seats it wants.

At some places, Congress wants to make the leaders who have left Samajwadi Party its candidates, but Akhilesh Yadav is not ready for this. For example, five-time MP from Lakhimpur Ravi Verma has left Samajwadi Party and joined Congress. Congress wants to give him ticket from there while Samajwadi Party has asked Utkarsh Verma to be ready to contest the elections.

Congress wants 23 seats

The Congress party wants Danish Ali to contest from Moradabad while ST Hasan is the Samajwadi Party MP from there. Akhilesh has told his leaders to first know their demand from Congress. Congress wants at least 23 seats for itself based on its performance in the 2009 Lok Sabha elections.

SP made list of 58 seats

Samajwadi Party has done its homework and made a list of 58 seats for itself. But Akhilesh Yadav says that we are ready to contest elections in alliance with Congress under any circumstances and there will be no deadlock regarding seats. Let us tell you that in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha, there is a continuous discussion among the leaders of the India Alliance regarding the distribution of seats.
