Jammu-Kashmir News: Security forces are running a special operation to eliminate terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. The security forces got a big success when they arrested two terrorists of The Resistance Front TRF, also known as the hit squad of Lashkar-e-Taiba. Both these terrorists were running a recruitment campaign for TRF. Security forces have arrested both the terrorists from Baramulla. Two pistols, magazines, bullets and hand grenades have been recovered from them.

Both the terrorists revealed during interrogation that along with the recruitment of new terrorists, they were also asked to carry out target killing of some specific people in the district. With the arrest of these terrorists, a conspiracy of terrorist recruitment and target killing has failed. The captured terrorists have been identified as Yasin Ahmed Shah of Jambajpora Baramulla and Parvez Ahmed Shah of Takia Wagura. It is being told that Yasin Ahmed Shah had become a TRF terrorist after disappearing from home about two months ago.

Both terrorists were working on the instructions of Pakistan-based masters.

After arresting both the terrorists, he was interrogated by the security forces. In which it was revealed that both these terrorists were working on the instructions of Pakistan-based masters and were planning to recruit more terrorists and carry out terrorist activities in Baramulla and surrounding areas. According to the information given by the police, the investigation is still in the initial stage and more arrests and recoveries are expected.

A police officer was arrested on Thursday

Earlier on Thursday, Srinagar Police in Jammu and Kashmir took major action and arrested a Deputy SP rank officer under various charges. According to the information received so far, the police searched the officer's residence and seized some documents, a laptop and other electronic devices from his house. After this the officer was interrogated and he was arrested. Jammu and Kashmir Police had arrested the Deputy SP rank officer under sections 167, 193, 201, 210, 218, 221. Apart from this, action was also taken against the officer under Section 7 and 7A of the Corruption Act at Naugam Police Station.
