There has been a lot of destruction due to cloudburst in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of heavy rain in Himachal in the next 48 hours.

Monsoon active over North India

Senior Scientist of the Meteorological Department K Jenmani told the news agency that the monsoon has reached parts of Rajasthan and Punjab. The situation in Delhi is favorable. At the same time, Monsoon is active in some parts of North India, which includes Himachal and Uttarakhand.


Shah spoke on the incident of cloudburst

On Monday, there was severe destruction due to cloudburst in Bhag Sunag of Kangra district of Himachal. Due to the sudden cloudburst, the water in the rivers has increased here and the rivers are in spate due to the rapid flow. In such a situation, an alert has been issued in all the villages situated around the rivers.

After the cloudburst incident came to light, Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to Himachal Chief Minister Jairam Thakur and assured all possible help. After this, Amit Shah tweeted that NDRF teams are reaching for relief work and the Ministry of Home Affairs is continuously monitoring the situation. He said that all possible help would be given to Himachal by the Centre.
