Himachal Pradesh Politics: The problems of the Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu government of Himachal Pradesh are not showing signs of decreasing. Meanwhile, high voltage drama was seen in the state cabinet meeting on Saturday. In fact, there was a heated debate among the ministers on policy decisions, after which ministers Jagat Negi and Rohit Thakur left the meeting midway. This information has come out quoting sources.

However, to control the damage, Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri came forward and calmed down this high voltage drama, after which both the ministers returned to the meeting. Giving clarification, Revenue Minister Jagat Negi said that the time for the meeting chaired by Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu was fixed at 11 am, but the meeting started at around 12.30 pm. The CM was busy with some other work due to which the meeting got delayed. He further said that he had walked out due to the delay in the meeting.

Rohit Thakur made a different claim

At the same time, Rohit Thakur says that he had left the meeting for some time because someone had come outside to meet him. He rejoined the meeting later. News agency PTI quoted sources as saying that before both the ministers left the meeting, there was a heated debate on some policy decisions. Referring to the incident, a senior Congress leader said that politics is a game of compatibility and compromise. There should be a good understanding of the interest of the party.

‘9 more Congress MLAs are feeling suffocated in Sukhu government’

A crisis had arisen for the Sukhu government of Himachal Pradesh when six Congress MLAs voted for BJP candidate Harsh Mahajan for the sole Rajya Sabha seat. After this these MLAs became rebels. Speculations began that the Congress government in the state would fall, but somehow the government was saved. CM Sukhu has been continuously saying that his government will last for five years. The Congress government is trying to extinguish the political crisis in the state. However, rebel Congress MLA Rajendra Rana claimed that 9 more MLAs of the party are feeling suffocated due to the way Chief Minister Sukhu is working, all these MLAs are in touch with him.
