Madhya Pradesh | There has been a ruckus after the Zomato company linked the online food delivery ad with the food plate of the Mahakal temple. This ad of the company has been done by the Hrithik Roshan actor, in this actor Hrithik Roshan is saying "The plate is in Ujjain, so I have asked for it from Mahakal". On this the priests of Mahakal temple have lodged a protest. The priests say that any such plate from the Mahakal temple is not delivered to any corner of the world, even in Ujjain. Zomato and Hrithik Roshan should apologize.

Mahesh Sharma, the priest of the Mahakal temple, said that the company should think before issuing such ads. Hindu society is tolerant. He was never furious. Had there been any other society, such a company would have been set on fire. The company should not play with our sentiments like this. The company has made this misleading publicity, it should be stopped immediately. In the Mahakal temple food area, food is given to the devotees in a thali, but there is no provision to deliver the food of the thali. The company which is also delivering non-veg food, it should immediately stop the misleading advertisement of plate in the name of Mahakal. The company has hurt the sentiments of Hindus. We strongly oppose this. If the company does not apologize then we will go to court.

Collector said, will take action

Collector and Chairman of Mahakal Temple Committee Ashish Singh termed the advertisement as factless and misleading. He said that offerings can be taken only in the food area in the Mahakal temple. The plate is not sent anywhere from here. Will take action to stop misleading advertisements. Food arrangements are made free by the temple committee. Devotees can take food offerings from 11 am to 2 am and from 5 pm to 8 pm sitting in the grain area.

5 months ago the company came into controversy when it was claimed to deliver food in 10 minutes. The company's founder Deepinder Goyal had given this information through a blog. Lok Sabha member Karti Chidambaram had said that this is absolutely absurd service. This will put unnecessary pressure on the deliverers. Many people had raised questions on the safety of the delivery boy. However, Goyal had also told on social media that his 10 minute delivery service will be as safe as 30 minute delivery service. All delivery boys will be given training on road safety. Life insurance will also be given to them.
