This dispute was pending for a long timeOn July 4, 2018, the Supreme Court had given judgment on several issues in the Center vs Delhi dispute but left some issues like control over services ie officers for further hearing. On February 14, 2019, a two-judge bench had given a decision on this issue, but the decision of both the judges, Justice AK Sikri and Justice Ashok Bhushan, was different. After this the matter came before a bench of 3 judges and finally a bench of 5 judges headed by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud heard the case. Now today the decision has come on this matter.
