I have once again invited the wrestlers for talks. Let us tell you that before meeting Shah, the protestors had also met wrestler Thakur and there was a conversation for about two hours.

A mahapanchayat has been called today in support of the protesting wrestler who is adamant on taking action against BJP MP and Wrestling Federation President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. This khap mahapanchayat has been convened in Balali and Dadri, the villages of the Phogat sisters. Vinesh Phogat and Sangeeta Phogat will also be present in this. Wrestlers adamant on the arrest of the President of the Wrestling Federation

Wrestlers who have been protesting in Delhi for more than a month are adamant on demanding the arrest of Wrestling Federation President Brij Bhushan Sharan. The protesting wrestlers also include the country's top wrestlers who won a bronze medal in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. These wrestlers have accused the BJP MP of sexual harassment.

Delhi Police had registered the case on 28 April

Following protests by wrestlers and intervention of the Supreme Court, on April 28, the Delhi Police registered two cases against the President of the Wrestling Federation. In this, a case has also been registered under the POCSO Act. Delhi Police's SIT is probing the matter and statements are being recorded on behalf of wrestlers including Singh.

A team of Delhi Police had also reached Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh's ancestral residence in Gonda on Monday. Where he recorded statements of 12 people, including close aides and security personnel of the MP. So far, statements of more than 120 people have been recorded in this case by the Delhi Police. Here the wrestlers allege that the Delhi Police is deliberately not arresting the President of the Wrestling Federation.
