India / Monkeypox symptoms in a child of vijaywada return from saudi arab

New Delhi : A child was admitted to a hospital after he developed symptoms of monkeypox in Andhra Pradesh's Vijayawada. It has been told by GGH Hospital that the report of the child has come negative. Please tell that the child's family had returned from Saudi Arabia a day earlier. His family has also been quarantined.

Let us tell you that two days ago, a case of monkeypox has been confirmed in Kerala. He had just returned from Oai. In view of the symptoms, his blood sample was also sent for examination. He is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Thiruvananthapuram.

It is being told that 11 people traveling with the person from Kerala who was found infected, a taxi driver, a doctor and family members are under observation. Alert has been issued in five districts of Kerala. These include Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam and Thiruvananthapuram.

So far, cases of monkeypox have been found in 27 countries around the world. However, it is a matter of relief that no one has died due to this. Nevertheless, the Government of India has advised all the states and union territories to be careful by issuing advisory.
