Apart from him, Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have been made Deputy Chief Ministers. In today's swearing in, apart from Nitish, 8 MLAs also took oath as ministers. BJP President JP Nadda and Chirag Paswan also attended the swearing-in ceremony. Slogans of Jai Shri Ram were also raised before the oath.

Apart from the Chief Minister and 2 Deputy Chief Ministers, Bijendra Prasad Yadav, Dr. Prem Kumar, Sumit Singh, Shravan Kumar, Santosh Suman and Vijay Chaudhary have taken oath as ministers. Santosh Suman is the son of former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi. 3-3 MLAs have been made ministers from the quota of JDU and BJP.

HAM and independent MLAs became ministers

Among those who became ministers, Bijendra Prasad Yadav, Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Shravan Kumar are MLAs of Janata Dal United. So BJP MLA Dr. Prem Kumar has also become a minister. Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) President Dr. Santosh Kumar Suman and independent MLA Sumit Kumar Singh have also been made ministers. After the swearing-in, JDU MLA and new minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary said, “Whenever we get any responsibility, we try to fulfill it with full honesty.”

Earlier, Nitish Kumar met Governor Rajendra V Arlekar on Sunday morning and submitted his resignation. Regarding resignation, Nitish said, “According to the opinion received from my party people, I have resigned from the post of Chief Minister today.”

Samrat Choudhary BJP Legislature Party leader

On the other hand, after the new political equation in Bihar, Samrat Chaudhary was elected the leader of the BJP legislature party in the state and Vijay Kumar Sinha was elected the deputy leader. Samrat Chaudhary is the president of the state unit of BJP. After the formation of NDA government again in the state, Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Sinha have been made Deputy Chief Ministers.

After the resignation of Janata Dal United (JDU) President Nitish Kumar from the post of Chief Minister, BJP in-charge in Bihar Vinod Tawde said that in the legislature party meeting held on Sunday morning, BJP MLAs agreed to the proposal to form the NDA government with the support of JDU.
