Nupur Sharma : Former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma, who was embroiled in controversies by making a statement on Prophet Mohammad, has got relief from the Supreme Court. The court has stayed his arrest till August 10. The court has issued notices to 8 states and the central government. During the hearing, Nupur's lawyer said that there is a threat to her life. The conspiracy to kill him has been revealed from Patna to Pakistan.

The court may also consider transferring all the cases during the next hearing. Nupur's lawyer has said during the hearing that the matter should be transferred to the Delhi High Court. The matter was heard in the bench of Justice Surya Kant and Justice B Pardiwala.

Article 21 became the basis of relief

During the hearing in the court, Advocate Manvendra Singh said that Nupur should get relief on the basis of Article 21. For this, he referred to several cases including the video of Khadim Chishti of Ajmer, in which he had received death threats. The judge asked - has this happened now?

Supreme Court: Justice Surya Kant said that do we understand it right that you want to be heard at a place of your choice. Do you want to go to Delhi High Court?

Nupur's lawyer: Advocate Manvendra Singh said that yes, this is what we want. The first FIR has happened in Delhi. The same law also says that where the first FIR has been registered, there should be a hearing. There have been some developments since your last order. There are serious dangers.

There are reports that a man came from Pakistan. Some people have also been arrested from Patna. Where the first FIR is registered, the rest of the cases are clubbed. Secondly, relief is given not to take any punitive step.

Supreme Court: It is our intention that you should not go everywhere. We will see what can be the next option.

What was in Nupur Sharma's new petition?

In the new petition filed by Nupur, it has been said that after the observation of the court, the danger to her life increased further. In such a situation, relief should be given against him from arrest in the case registered against him in 8 states. Apart from the Centre, Delhi, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, West Bengal, Karnataka, Jammu and Kashmir and Assam have been made parties in the petition.

Kolkata Police has issued lookout notice

On July 2 itself, Kolkata Police has issued a lookout notice against Nupur Sharma. Nupur did not appear for questioning on the FIR registered at Amherst Street Police Station, after which the notice was issued. At the same time, Maharashtra and Telangana police also want to interrogate Nupur.
